Innova Dominates in Field Events

Innova dominates at Field events. Worlds field events are a fun way to kick off the World Championships. EDGE, Putting, Mini Golf, and Distance. Innova swept them all. Putting was won YETI again by Jay Reading. Also winning their divisions, were Valarie Jenkins, David Wiggins Jr., Nicholas Duran, Lavone Wolfe, and Kathy Hardyman.


Distance had Innova in the top four spots in Open. Manabu Kajiyama Manabu Kajiyama traveled the farthest and threw the farthest, 577 feet. Markus Källström got 2nd, Avery Jenkins got 3rd, and Mike Schweiger was 4th. Also winning their division: Des Reading, Jim Myers, David Wiggins Jr., and Nicholas Duran.


EDGE Skillshot shows a mastery of a wide variety of shots from putts to drives. David Greenwell won Open, a few points ahead of Chris Sprague in 2nd. Carrie Berlogar won womens, and David Wiggins Jr. won among the Am men.


Mini Golf is always a fun battle, and Ken Climo battled Steve Rico, the hands on favorite in mini golf for the tie in Pro Men. Gregg Hosfeld, the Miniac, won in Senior men. Now it's time for the real battles to begin! Good luck to all!
