This is one of the first big events of the year and gets national participation because it is one of the first big ones and people like to go to the warm weather of Arizona after the long winter months in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Maine or wherever. I know we've had several disc golfers from this area attend this one in the past. This year Jeff Eades is traveling out west to participate in his first PDGA Grandmasters tournament at the Memorial. Here's a link to the PDGA Message Board discussion about the tournament. It might give you a feel as to why people like it so much.
I'll be posting some updates next week about how Jeff's doing on here and maybe some other bits of news from the tournament.
