In some cultures feet are sexy. An archaic law in rural China prohibits any male from looking at the bare feet of another man's wife. Men are allowed to see anything else they want, even the woman's naked body. But according to the tradition, if a neighbor or relative steals a glance at a woman's toes, her husband is obligated to kill him.
